About Me
I am a Canadian Ph.D. Student in nuclear physics at the University of California, Davis. I study the strong nuclear force and the quark-gluon plasma (QGP), an exotic phase of matter thought to be present shortly after the Big Bang. As an experimentalist, I analyze data produced in heavy ion collisions in an attempt to learn about the strong force and QGP. I am also interested in the development of future particle colliders. Outside of physics, I enjoy the outdoors, photography, music, cooking, bar trivia, and many other things.
